THE NEWS

Nintendo Dolphin

At present, Nintendo 64 has over 125 games, and 8% of these games have recieved the highest rating possibly. Having the advantage of a long History, Nintendo has been a big name in Video Games for years and years. With it's dedicated players, it offers some tough competition. A release date for Dolphin has not been set yet.

PlayStation 2

With over 300 games, 8% of these being rated as 5 star (the highest possible), the Playstation has become a leader in the video game industry. Set for a release on October 26, 2000, people anxiously await the PlayStation 2. With it's CD player, backwards compatability (plays previous system games), and a DVD player, the new system will definitely be a force to be reckoned with. It will sell for $300.

PlayStation One

PS One is a miniature version of the PlayStation. The compact has it's own screen and speakers for playing games. Where the normal lid was, a second lid has been attached with the LCD. It requires an AC adaptor to run, and an optional phone cord, that plugs into a controller slot, for connecting to a mobile network. PS One costs $140 in Japan, but will likely fall to $99 by the time it reaches US markets.
